Jill Hazel

Before moving to the Phoenix area, Jill grew up in a family business started by her mom and dad in 1949 in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It is still ongoing and successful as she and her 8 siblings continue to oversee the operations. Her family's foundation is excellent customer service, treating people as family, and connecting and adapting the team to changing circumstances throughout the years. Jill brings that same passion into the real estate world! She is a well-seasoned business professional and has participated in many real estate transactions, including buying and selling homes, commercial transactions, and locating investment properties.

Some of her many awards include the Sam Walton Businessperson of the Year, the Sault Ste Marie Chamber of Commerce Businessperson of the Year, Best Western International’s District III Governor of the Year, and owning and operating the #1 hotel on TripAdvisor in the area. Jill also served on the State of Michigan Tourism Board, was President of her local Convention and Visitors Board, Chair of the Eastern Upper Peninsula Workforce Development Board and Treasurer of both the local Economic Development board and her church’s Financial Committee.

She attended the University of Michigan, received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Central Michigan University, and received an M.B.A. from Lake Superior State University. She has a genuine desire to learn and is continually fine tuning her real estate skills and knowledge. Jill’s passion for working with people and making a difficult process easier to eliminate as much stress as possible, while having fun doing so, makes her unique to the industry.
