OVERVIEW The Member Engagement Council looks for ways to bring members together to strengthen and support the WeSERV community and culture. The Member Engagement Council discusses ways to have the greatest impact on WeSERV members in their real estate business and communicate the value of WeSERV. These objectives can be through communication and technology, events, classes, networking, and charitable efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIESThe Member Engagement Council specific responsibilities to include:
- Serve as a sounding board for the board of directors and staff on emerging technology issues, problems, and initiatives.
- Assist and support the Affiliate Forum.
- Discuss and evaluate communication strategies and platforms to connect with members.
- Work with staff to review the charitable support strategy.
- Consider and discuss opportunities to increase member engagement and provide more value for membership.
- Discover and cultivate new ways to recognize member contributions to the real estate industry, community, and WeSERV.
- Help foster positive member experiences through all related communications, technology, activities and events, offerings, and initiatives.
- Support our core customer and promote our core values through related methods.
- Purposes and creates workgroups in cooperation with the Board of Directors.
MEMBERS The Member Engagement Council is comprised of the council chairpersons, council chairperson-elect, immediate past president, director liaison(s), and staff, liaison(s). Additional council members may include WeSERV members interested in providing feedback, input, and ideas to improve engagement, communication, and community outreach of the Association.
