Many of you already encourage potential affiliates and new real estate agents to join WeSERV. We appreciate you and want to recognize your willingness to share the benefits of WeSERV membership.

How to Refer New Members

It's easy. You can pick up referral program cards at our office. When you meet someone who would benefit from WeSERV membership, simply add your name, NRDS or MLS ID, and your member type to the referring member portion of the card. Give them the whole card to bring into WeSERV when they join. The card is two-fold. It explains the program and what to expect, and is your entry into a drawing for an awesome prize.

We know that some new members join electronically and may not bring the card to the office. When they email or fax their member application, they can include the information requested so you receive credit for the referral. You can also complete the referral card digitally and email it to potential new members.

What's in for you, you ask?

When the person you refer joins WeSERV, you'll both be invited to a Member Referral Appreciation Breakfast and you'll be entered into a drawing as mentioned above. We'll have two breakfasts a year; one in April and the other in October. There will be four drawings at each breakfast. You'll be entered into a drawing once for each referred member that joins during the appropriate time period based on what type of member you are; i.e. Designated REALTOR®, REALTOR®, or affiliate, and the time period the referred new member joins WeSERV. The new member will be entered into a drawing for referred new members. Keep in mind, you must be present at the breakfast to win. We'll send invitations in the mail and via email when the time comes.

At the breakfast, you'll have networking time, enjoy breakfast, learn some things about WeSERV, and have the opportunity to win a prize.

Program History

Our West Valley Member Engagement Council discusses ways to engage members and find new ways to assist and serve members. In early 2018, members of the council suggested that we create a referral program to recognize members who tell others about the benefits of joining WeSERV when the referred new member joins the Association. We created a Member Referral Program Workgroup to design the program and launched it October 1, 2018.
