CE: Navigating the Home Inspection

About this Event
Whether you’re a seasoned real estate agent or brand new to the industry, we know the home inspection period can be stressful for you, your buyers, and your sellers. We aim to give you the knowledge you need to guide your clients through this process smoothly and efficiently.This class will cover:
- The basics of the home inspection process
- What to expect on inspection day
- How to read and interpret the inspection report
- The biggest safety, financial, and client concerns
- A brief overview of how a home is built and home components
- Photos, videos, & plenty of time for Q&A
Presentation Notice
This class will be conducted via Zoom video conferencing. After registering, you'll receive an email from Zoom with the class link.
IMPORTANT TECHNICAL AND FORMAT DETAILS
Per ADRE remote class guidelines for CE credit, you must be in camera view at all times. To verify your attendance and identity, you must use video and display your first and last name through Zoom for the course duration. Please treat the remote class as you would a live in-person class. Students may not use a mobile device to complete the course. You must be stationary and sitting at a desk/table as you would be in a live class. The instructor/monitor must be able to maintain visual and audio contact with you at all times. Class access will be locked 10 minutes after the start time. If you are unable to join, you have arrived too late.
Certificates
We’ll email your CE certificate to you within two business days after class completion.

Certified Master Inspector and Owner of Brown & Co. Property Inspections, Jim Brown has over 15 years of experience in the construction and home inspection industries. He holds certifications with the Department of Agriculture as a termite inspector, the International Association of Indoor Air Quality Consultants as a mold inspector, and the Federal Aviation Administration as a drone pilot. He currently sits on the Board of Technical Registration's Enforcement Advisory Committee and mentors and trains new home inspectors in the industry. He is known as the go-to guy for home knowledge, friendliness, and integrity, and he is excited to share his knowledge with real estate professionals.
