Olufemi "Femi" Akinpetide was born in Sydney, Australia and his background is Nigerian. In 2005, Femi came to America to attend high school and pursue his dream to play professional basketball. After high school Femi attended the University of Missouri: Kansas City and Sacred Heart University in Connecticut where he played on the mens basketball team. He also played semi- professional basketball for the Springfield, Panthers. For the last 9 years Femi worked as a mortgage underwriter for various banks and mortgage lenders. He underwrote thousands of loans including conventional, FHA, 2nd mortgage and portfolio loans. Femi believes that real estate can be a powerful wealth building tool and he has a passion to help people build wealth through real estate
